Developing + Maximum Scan TIFF, Push/Pull

To order this service, you need to have previously shot the entire roll with a different ISO (!)

What is push processing for?

• If you find yourself in a situation with the wrong film. For example, you have Portra 400, but there is clearly not enough light. You can shoot it at ISO 800 and ask us to do a 1-stop push;
• for artistic effect. During the push process, grain and contrast increase.

What is pull processing for?

• for artistic effect. During the pull process, you shoot the film at a lower ISO. For example, Portra 400 at ISO 100. As a result, you get soft, gentle colors and low contrast.

Development + maximum TIFF scan is a service often ordered by professional photographers for further independent post-processing or printing.

You will receive:

• scans at 4000x6000 resolution
• with 16-bit color depth
• in TIFF format
• and a bonus: a digital index print

We scan on a Noritsu HS-1800.

When to expect the scans? Within 3 days*

*standard development + maximum TIFF scan times in our lab — 48 hours. Since push/pull — these are processes that occur at different temperatures, we develop such films separately at the end of the day and add an extra day.
