    We’re open daily from 11:00 to 19:00.
    Phone: 095-256-85-86

    Kyiv, branch No. 72 (21 Bulvarno-Kudriavska St.)

Recipient: ТОВ ФОТОВРАМЦІ (Яремчук Наталія) (Nataliia Yaremchuk), 099-256-85-86
    EDRPOU code: 45719496

Make sure you send it specifically to the LLC so that the package doesn’t get lost!

Please make sure the film is sent in a bag, not a box. Thank you in advance!
  3. Leave it in a film box

✦ 20 Ivana Franka St. [by the entrance to the lab] – 24/7
    ✦ 9b Reitarska St. [Kashtan café] – 9:00–21:30

Film photography consists of the following stages:

  1. Taking photos. You’ve most likely already completed this stage. During it, a small amount of light reaches the film, forming a latent image. It cannot be seen without developing the film.
  2. Development – the process that turns the latent image into a visible one. This takes place in complete darkness. After development, the film is no longer sensitive to light, and the image becomes visible as a negative.
  3. Scanning – converting developed negative film into digital positive images that you can then open on your phone or computer.
  4. Printing – converting digital files into actual photographs on photographic paper. As a result, you get photos you can hold in your hands, keep in an album, or frame.

To turn your film frames into photos in your phone’s gallery, order developing + scanning. And to get physical prints of your photos, order photo printing using the link to the completed scans. There you can choose to print the entire roll at once or just some of the photos.

You'll receive your scans within a day!

Sometimes the turnaround time may be extended due to external circumstances, such as a power outage. If this happens, we will notify you on the website [when placing your order] and in our Instagram stories.

Your prints will be ready within one to two days, depending on the workload. But we always try to complete them as quickly as possible.

If you can’t make it to our lab to drop off your film, you can put it in a film box.

✦ 20 Ivana Franka St. [by the lab entrance] – 24/7
✦ 9b Reitarska St. [Kashtan café] – 9:00–21:30

  1. Go to our Telegram bot and choose the type of developing and scanning you need.[In “Popular” – basic developing + scanning. In “All services” – the full range, where you build your order like a kit.]
  2. Pay for your order through the bot.
  3. Get your order number in the bot and write it on the film container.
  4. Put the film in the box and wait for the scans – we’ll send them to you very soon.

When you drop off your film, we ask whether you’d like us to keep your negatives.
If so, we store them for 14 days after development, and you can pick them up during that period. After that, we dispose of them. We can also send them via Nova Poshta anywhere in Ukraine.

If you’re new to this and aren’t sure whether you should keep your negatives, here’s our advice. If you have them and store them properly, you can scan your film again, even if you lose the photos on your phone or hard drives. They’re your backup to make sure you don’t lose your memories.

Yes, we push and pull color film by up to 3 stops, and black-and-white film by up to 4 stops.

We can develop 135, 120, and 110 format film.

Of course, we develop expired film. Yes, the results may differ significantly from what you’re used to seeing. It all depends not only on the developing process, but also on how the film was stored, how far past its expiration date it is, how it was shot, and other factors. But we’ll do our best to make sure you get some great shots.

Please note that we do not develop old low-temperature processes such as Sovcolor and ORWO (color Svema/Tasma/ORWO). We also do not develop K-14 (Kodachrome) or C-22 (Kodacolor I).

Yes, but don’t remove anything from it. Just submit the camera itself, and we’ll remove the film from it ourselves.

If you’d like us to return the camera itself to you as a keepsake, indicate this when ordering development and scanning.

✦ C-41 – for color film and AHU cinema film [without remjet].
✦ We develop B&W film in Ilfotec HC developer.
✦ ECN-2 – for cinema film with remjet.

Scan

We basically edit JPG files and enhance the image. However, you will receive TIFF files in their “raw” form. This is a completely unprocessed file that you will only be able to open using Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar software. This format is intended for editing photos yourself.

LOG scanning is a format that preserves maximum detail in the bright and dark areas of the image. These files require further processing, but they provide more options for color correction and take up less space. We do not scan Phoenix and Aerocolor films in LOG.

The only difference is the file’s resolution, not the quality of the image itself.

  • Basic scan — 2000×3000 pixels (~6 MP). Suitable for viewing on a screen and printing photos up to A4 size.
  • Maximum scan — 4000×6000 pixels (~24 MP). Provides more detail and allows photos to be printed up to A2 size.

It is important to understand that a maximum scan will not make the photo sharper, more beautiful, or less grainy. It will only preserve more of the detail already present on the film.

Frames shot on fine-grain film with a quality camera and good optics benefit most from a maximum scan. For example, there is no point in scanning film from a disposable camera or a basic point-and-shoot camera at the maximum size — it will not create any additional detail.

You’ll receive a message from us in the Telegram bot that starts with “Юху!”.

Then follow the link to see the beautiful shots you captured. You can also order prints of the entire roll or individual frames on this page.

We scan using the Noritsu HS-1800 and the Epson v850 Pro.

Yes, we scan archival film. However, this may take longer than usual. It all depends on the condition and quantity of the negatives.

This service is also provided with advance payment.

Please note that we do not enhance or restore archival photographs. We only make basic corrections to color film, which is very often subject to emulsion degradation and severe color shifts.

We’re very sorry. However, we’re confident that there’s an explanation. Please send us the details of your case via Telegram or contact us by phone at +380992568586.

In-store purchases

These are different photographic film formats that vary in frame size, image quality, and, most importantly, the type of camera they require. To avoid mistakes when buying, choose film specifically for your camera.

  • 135 (35 mm) — the most common format. It has a 24×36 mm frame and usually comes with 24 or 36 exposures per roll. Suitable for most film cameras and beginners.
  • 120 (medium format, 61 mm) — used in medium-format cameras. The frame size may be 6×4.5, 6×6, 6×7, or 6×9, among others, and the number of exposures is usually between 8 and 16. Produces more detailed images.
  • 110 — a compact format with a 13×17 mm frame. It produces characteristic vintage grain and lower detail. Working with this film is somewhat more difficult, so development and scanning take longer, and the service costs more.

Camera rental

The standard camera rental period is 5 days. The price shown on the website is for this period.
If you need it for longer, order 2 rental periods or more.

If the camera is not returned within the specified period, the renter will be charged for a second rental period.

The standard camera rental period is 5 days, and the price shown on the website is for this period.
When renting a camera that is shipped to another city, the following are added to the rental period:

  + 1 day for delivering the camera to the renter;

+ 1 day for returning the camera.

Thus, the total rental period is 7 days (5 rental days + 2 days for shipping).

It’s worth informing the administrators in advance. That way, we can confirm that a camera in the color you need is available for your dates and reserve that exact one.

We provide charged batteries with all rented cameras. They are an integral part of the rented equipment and must be returned with the camera, regardless of their charge level at the time of return.

If the batteries are not returned, the renter is responsible for covering their cost. The amount depends on the type of batteries.

Instax — for parties, trips, and events. The camera automatically adjusts to the lighting, is easy to use, and delivers consistent results. One cartridge contains 10 shots. Available formats:
Wide — 108 × 86 mm (with border), 99 × 62 mm (image).
Square — 86 × 72 mm (with border), 62 × 62 mm (image).
Mini — 86 × 54 mm (with border), 62 × 46 mm (image).

Polaroid — for those who enjoy creativity. It produces unique retro photos, but requires more attention to lighting and shooting conditions (you’ll need to get the hang of it). One cartridge contains 8 shots. The photo size is 107х88 mm with the border and 79х79 mm without it.

Olympus Superzoom 70G film camera — a great option for those who want to shoot on film. After shooting, the film will need to be developed and scanned, so you’ll have to wait for the result. Typically, one roll is designed for 36 shots.

Still can’t decide? Write to us — we’ll help you choose!
