Ilford XP2 Super 400/135 film

Ilford XP2 Super 400/135 is a monochrome black-and-white film. You can have it processed using the C-41 process along with other color rolls. The secret lies in the emulsion: it consists not of metallic silver, but of dyes.

XP2 Super is probably the only film that can be shot at different ISO settings—from 50 to 800, and even up to 1600—on a single roll. This film is forgiving of exposure errors, so if you are just taking your first steps in photography, Ilford XP2 can save your shots. 

XP2 Super is designed for scanning. Since it is a color film, it is compatible with Digital ICE, which automatically removes dust and scratches during scanning.

The film is fine-grained and not very contrasty. You can always add contrast during scanning or preserve a wealth of midtones. The choice is yours!
