"Notes in Ukraine" photo book by Hironori KODAMA

Hironori Kodama is a photographer from Japan who owns a small film camera shop in Tokyo. And that’s not all you need to know about him.

He has visited Donetsk region, Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Lviv, and Chernivtsi.

Hiro documents the war in Ukraine through exhibitions and social media, and we are very grateful for that. And now his photobook is right in front of you!

Notes in Ukraine shows our Ukrainian realities through the eyes of a Japanese person. It’s an opportunity to see familiar things from a different perspective.

The book is presented in Japanese, but it comes with an English booklet.
