Olympus Superzoom 80G Manual

Інструкція Olympus Superzoom 80G

Olympus Superzoom 80G is a film compact camera with zoom, autofocus, and a built-in flash. It does everything by itself — you just need to aim and press the button.

We’ll help you make it as successful as possible!

General overview of the camera:

Inserting the batteries:

  1. Close the lens cover and open the battery compartment cover (2) by pressing OPEN (1).
  2. Insert the CR123A batteries correctly (as shown in the picture) and close the cover tightly.

Checking the batteries:

  1. Open the lens cover until you hear a “click.”
  2. If the battery icon appears on the display and then automatically goes off, the battery is charged and the camera is ready to use.
  3. If the icon blinks, the battery needs to be replaced.

Loading the film:

  1. Open the back cover by sliding its lever upward.
  2. Insert the film (as shown in the picture) and make sure the film tip is positioned correctly.
  3. Close the cover and turn on the camera by sliding the lens cover until you hear a characteristic “click.”
  4. Look at the display; the E icon should change to 1 if the film is loaded correctly.

How to shoot on film:

  1. Turn on the camera.
  2. Look through the viewfinder and frame your shot.
  3. Use the zoom lever if needed (it increases or decreases the focal length).
  4. Make sure the main subject in the frame is inside the autofocus frame you see through the viewfinder.
  5. Press the shutter button lightly, but not all the way down — this action will focus the camera.
  6. Press the button fully, a bit more firmly, to take the shot!
  7. You can check the frame count on the display — it will increase by one.

Important to remember

  • If the subject is too close, the shot may be blurry, so step back a little.
  • If the subject is too far and you don’t use zoom, it may “get lost,” so use the zoom.
  • The camera needs a second to “understand” what you’re shooting — don’t rush to press the button immediately.

How to remove the film?

Once you finish the last frame, the camera will automatically start rewinding the film. Do not open the cover until this process is complete, as you will expose the frames. Then simply open the cover, take the spool out of the camera, and bring it to us for development!

Additional:

  • Unused films can be returned. Just make sure they are in the package.
  • If you have any questions or want to extend the rental period, call 380992568586 or write to us on Telegram.
