You have the Instax SQ1 in your hands — a camera that takes square Instax Square photos (86×72 mm) without extra settings or complicated menus.
It is powered by 2 cr2 batteries.
What and where?

How to insert the cartridge (photo paper cartridge)?
- Open the back cover.
- Insert the film so that the yellow stripe on the cartridge matches the yellow mark on the camera.
- Close the cover — the camera is ready.
- The first shutter release pulls out the black protective card and changes the counter to 10. The next 10 shutter releases — these are your photos!
Do not open the back cover until you finish the cartridge — unexposed frames may be exposed and the counter reset.

Tips
- Lighting matters — instant photos love good lighting, especially when shooting without flash.
- If you want less blurring, try to hold the camera steady.

Additionally:
- Unexposed cartridges can be returned. The main thing is that they are in the package.
