- Insert the cartridges into the camera so that the yellow mark inside the camera and the same mark on the cassette align in a straight line.
WARNING! Do not open the back cover until all the photo paper (10 shots) has been used. Otherwise, the remaining sheets of photo paper will be exposed and turn white, making them unusable. Not sure how many shots are left? Check the counter (17). - Insert 2 AA batteries into the camera and turn it on using the power button (10).
- Press the shutter button (6) once. The protective film (a black flat card) will eject from the camera.
- Aim at the frame and press the shutter button again to take a photo.
Turn off the camera after use by pushing the lens (7) back inside, returning it to its original position.
Self-portrait mode
What to consider to get a successful shot?
- Try to hold the camera steady and avoid moving when taking a shot to achieve maximum sharpness.
- Check that you have not activated an unnecessary mode.
- Before taking a photo, aim the lens at your subject. Be careful with your fingers: do not cover the two holes next to the flash, or the camera will not be able to measure exposure correctly.
- Mind the distance between the camera and the subject. In normal mode, shoot at a distance of at least 0.5 m (slightly less than an outstretched arm). If you hold the camera closer than 0.5 m to the subject, switch to self-portrait mode. Use self-portrait mode for close-up shots within a distance range of 30 to 50 cm.
