The camera operates on regular AA batteries. We have already inserted them inside. On the left side of the camera, you will see a small screen and 4 buttons to control the basic functions of the camera.
Basic functions:
1. The Power button – use it to turn the camera on or off. Turn it to the right — to turn it on. Turn it to the right again — to turn it off.
2. The Flash activates automatically in poor lighting conditions. But you can choose to force it on, and it will fire even on a sunny day.
3. There is a ring on the lens that allows you to change the focus mode. From 0.9 to 3m, and from 3m to ∞. Be sure to switch depending on the distance so your subject is in focus.
4. The last function — image brightness. There are three modes to choose from: normal, bright, and dark. For most situations, we recommend using the normal mode.
All information about modes and the number of shots is displayed on the screen on the back panel. The shutter button is located on the right, next to the Power button.
How to insert the cassette?
- Open the back cover and insert the cassette so that the yellow stripe on it matches the yellow stripe on the camera. The yellow stripe should face you.
- Close the cover — the camera is ready to use.
- “But the frame counter didn’t start!” Don’t worry. Turn on the camera and take a test shot: a black protective cardboard will eject from the camera, and the counter will change to “10”.
- After this, do not open the cover again, otherwise the undeveloped shots will be exposed, the frame counter will reset, and the letter “S” will appear instead.
How to take shots?
Press the button — and the magic happens. First, a white photo will come out. But give it a little time. Within a few minutes, a full image will appear. The optimal development temperature is 5-35 degrees Celsius. The warmer it is, the faster the photo will develop. After that, you can do anything with the photo — the image will not disappear.
