You are holding one of Fujifilm’s most functional instant cameras! It is powered by 2 CR2 batteries . Now let’s figure out what to do with all these buttons:
1) To turn on the camera—slide the button (1) from “off” to “on”. The lens (10) will extend immediately. It has a selfie mirror (11) on it (what you see in the reflection will appear in the photo);
2) Next to the button is the compartment from which the photos come out;
3) This is an indicator that flashes red when the timer is in use;
4) Viewfinder—the lens is not aligned with the viewfinder. When taking a photo, leave some empty space on the sides so the image is cropped correctly;
5) This is the strap attachment;
6) Shutter button. Press it when you want to take a photo;
7) The camera automatically measures the light using this sensor and the flash sensor (8). The flash intensity depends on the lighting (12);

13) You can use this indicator to determine which mode is enabled. Use the “mode” button (15) to select the desired one:
- Automatic mode — “A”;
- Selfie mode;
- Macro mode (allows you to take photos from a distance of 30–50 cm);
- Landscape (allows you to take photos from a distance of 2 m – ∞);
- Multiple exposure (press the shutter button twice to get a photo composed of two images superimposed on each other);
- “Brighter/darker” mode (allows you to control the brightness of the photos).

17) Turn off the flash (you can turn it off when it is sunny or when the camera is on a tripod);

How do you insert the cartridge?
Open the back cover and insert the cartridge so that its yellow stripe aligns with the yellow stripe on the camera. The yellow stripe must face you. Close the cover—the camera is ready to use. "But instead of the frame counter, there is a minus sign!" Don't worry. Turn on the camera and take a test photo: a black protective card will come out of the camera, and the counter will change to "10". (Do not open the back cover, otherwise the undeveloped photos will be exposed, the frame counter will reset, and the letter "S" will appear instead.)
Now you can take a full set of 10 photos. Press the button— magic happens. At first, you will see a white image. But give it a little time— and a fully developed image will appear after just a few minutes. The optimal developing temperature— 5–35 degrees. The warmer— the faster the image will develop. After that, you can do whatever you like with the photo— the image will not disappear.
