On October 24, the British company Ilford introduced the black-and-white new product Ortho Plus 80. Previously, Ortho Plus 80 was only available in large format; now the film will be available for 135 and 120 type cameras.
Ortho Plus 80 is an orthochromatic film that is not sensitive to red light. Its features include a retro look and the ability to develop under red light. Since the film does not see red light, red and orange objects in the frame will appear black.
Another new product from Ilford - the fifth generation of Ilford Multigrade RC Deluxe photographic paper. The new paper has a warmer base, better black reproduction, and more toning options. The previous version of the paper was released 25 years ago.
