At the beginning of this summer, a new instant hero appeared in the Fujifilm lineup—the Fujifilm Instax Square SQ6. This camera combines everything we love so much about Fuji Instax: stylish design, ease of use, a variety of shooting modes, and endless fun throughout the process.
But, like the SQ10 model, the SQ6 takes instant photos in the classic square format!
The camera requires Instax Square Film cartridges. The photo size is 86х72 millimeters, while the image itself is 62х62 mm; it develops in +/- 90 seconds. Like other Instax cartridges, Square Film preserves color brightness and saturation for years, does not fade in sunlight, and is not damaged by water.
And now, more details about the camera itself:
The SQ6 comes with:
- a camera strap;
- two batteries;
- three colored lenses for stylish photos: orange, green, and purple.
The camera itself has a 10-second timer, a flash-off button, and a tripod socket. There are plenty of modes—seven in total.
1. Auto mode—the camera will suggest which mode to choose and take a great photo.
2. Selfie mode automatically determines the brightness and focal-length settings. There is a special selfie mirror next to the lens so you can see exactly what you are photographing. The 10-second timer will also come in handy here.
3. Macro mode is designed for photographing objects that are very close.
4. Landscape mode is for shooting objects at a distance of 2 meters or more.
5. Double exposure lets you create cool photos by overlaying one frame onto another.
6. Light mode brightens photos. When taking photos in a dark room, this mode will help make the image brighter and clearer.
7. Dark mode darkens photos. By choosing this mode in bright sunshine, you will get perfect photos without blown-out highlights.
The SQ6 is easy to use: choose a mode, aim, and press the button. You can combine modes and lenses, take great selfies using the timer and tripod, and shoot landscapes and portraits. The SQ6 inspires all kinds of creative experiments!
