Technically, the Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 remains as simple to use as previous models. The camera has five shooting modes, and it will suggest which one to choose at the moment of shooting. You can confidently say that the camera can be used without reading the manual; everything is intuitive. The shooting process is really very simple:
- turn on the camera and wait until the red light (battery charge indicator) near the viewfinder goes off,
- select the desired mode on the lens (the light will indicate which one),
- aim at the subject and press the shutter button.
After 2-3 minutes, the photo is ready. The Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 camera is compatible with Fujifilm Instax Mini instant film cartridges, both color and black and white. The photo size is 8.6 x 5.4 cm. Each cartridge contains 10 shots. The photos remain bright and richly colored for many years; they do not fade or yellow and are water-resistant.
The Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 set includes a macro lens, so now you can experiment with macro photography. The lens allows shooting from a distance of 35 cm. Without the lens, the camera can take photos from 60 cm (a bit more than an outstretched arm). A new feature in the camera is a selfie mirror on the lens. Believe me, this makes it much easier to take a good photo with friends since you can see exactly where the camera is pointing. But don't forget about the shooting mode; the flash always fires!
