Kodak has announced the resumption of Ektachrome film production! The company was prompted to make this decision by the growing demand for analog photography. Interestingly, in 2012, the demand for digital photography led to the discontinuation of film production.
"Currently, we are witnessing a growing popularity of analog shooting – this applies to both photography and the film industry," say Kodak representatives, "over the past few years, demand for film has steadily increased, and professionals and enthusiasts have begun rediscovering the joy of working with it."
Kodak Ektachrome film went on sale at the end of 2017.
