Probably, portable printers were created for those who love taking photos on their phones and love printing their pictures. But don’t actually do it :) We love real, printed photos that you can hold in your hands and remember how wonderful that moment was. That’s why in this new review we will tell you about a wonderful device - the PicKit M1 mobile photo printer. This lightweight and compact printer will print your mobile photos in a pleasant format.
The first thing that catches the eye is the printer’s nice and neat design. It fits easily in your hand. Its size and weight allow you to take it anywhere without compromising photo quality or the device itself. If you’ve held an iPhone 6, the PicKit M1 is exactly the same size, just thicker.

Special thanks to the developers who invented (and even patented!) the cartridge and paper replacement system: you just need to pull out a plastic plate with one motion, which already contains 10 sheets of photo paper. The printer has 256 color shades, which during printing produce over 16 million colors — that’s a pocket printer for you!
The PicKit M1 uses dye-sublimation printing technology. In other words, the ink doesn’t go on top of the paper but “under” it, forming a very fine and dense grid of multicolored crystals. This way, the colors of the printed photo closely match the photo on your phone. The photo itself is under a transparent film, making the prints resistant to mechanical damage.

To print photos, you need to install the free official PicKit Printer app on your smartphone, sync it with your photo gallery, and print! The app allows you to edit photos, apply various filters and effects, insert backgrounds, and choose photo options like tear-off edges or "ID photo" format. The standard photo size is 54x86 mm.
