The Lomography company is not the direct manufacturer of its films. Don’t be surprised—Lomography employs crazy geniuses whose task is to develop new film formulas and pass them on to production. So, you can find Czech, Chinese, and American Lomography films. The quality is equally good across all, so there’s no need to worry about the "made in China" label. In this review, we will talk about popular and less common "models."
Lomography Color and Black & White Negative Film
The first thing to say about the Lomography Color Negative film line is that they are significantly brighter than Fujifilm and professional Kodak films. At the same time, these films are quite ordinary—you will get just good photos without any lomography effects.
Of course, Lomography couldn’t make a "simple" film, so when using Lomography Color Negative, you can be sure of rich blue, red, and green tones. We recommend this film for vibrant parties and bright colors. ISO 100 is suitable for shooting in sunny weather, 400 can be considered a universal film, giving good photos both in sunlight and cloudy weather. Rare ISO 800 film is intended for indoor or very cloudy conditions.

Lomography Redscale
Lomography Redscale is a film with a lomo effect. Photos taken with Redscale are filled with yellow and orange tones, and the more light that hits the film, the more saturated these tones become. Lomography’s technicians created this film by simply removing several layers of chemistry, resulting in yellow colors instead of whites.
Redscale divides photographers into two camps: those who love it and those who don’t understand why to use it at all. The first group is attracted by the lomo effect, which looks especially cool at sunset, at night, or in portrait shots. A feature of Lomography Redscale is its variable ISO—from 50 to 200. This allows you to adjust the color in your photos. When using this film, remember one rule: more light means more yellow.

Lomography Lomochrome film has an unusual lomo effect: in the photo, you will see monochrome colors depending on which roll you choose. We have Purple, which gives deep blue and even electric colors, and Turquoise. These two films transform light tones into various shades of blue-purple and turquoise, respectively. The films have sensitivity from 100 to 400, allowing you to play with light.
