Review of the Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 Instant Camera

Обзор моментальной камеры Fujifilm Instax Mini 70

Fujifilm continues to delight us and recently expanded the Instax instant camera lineup. The new Instax Mini 70 impresses with its design, automatic exposure control feature, and several new modes that set it apart from its predecessors in the Fujifilm Instax Mini series.

The camera is available in blue, yellow, white, black, red, and gold colors. At first glance, the Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 makes you want to grab it and head out to find interesting locations! Which, in fact, I did :)

With the first shot, I wanted to experiment. I inserted the cartridge, turned on the camera, and without selecting a mode, pressed the shutter. The result pleasantly surprised me; the photo turned out, without false modesty, simply perfect! Both the lighting and quality were excellent. This is a huge plus, meaning it’s easy for someone just starting with instant photography to handle. By the way, it’s also great for kids.

I really liked the focusing in "Macro" mode. And again, the photo quality is very pleasing.

The "Hi-Key" mode creates photos with soft and bright colors. According to Fujifilm, this mode is perfect for portrait photography. I decided to continue experimenting and used this mode not only for a portrait but also for a Christmas garland. Here, too, the camera did not disappoint; everything turned out very clear and beautiful. The portrait was taken outdoors on a very foggy day, and I want to give the camera a big plus for quality.

With the Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 camera, there’s no need to ask someone to take a photo of you with friends. Just set the camera on a tripod or a stable flat surface, select the "Self-timer" mode, and capture everyone in one shot! You’ll have 10 seconds to get ready.

The "Selfie" mode provides the appropriate brightness and shooting distance for self-portraits. What’s very convenient is the small mirror next to the lens, which allows you to check how you will look in the frame.

And what landscapes come out with this camera! Of course, it’s best to shoot in bright weather, but even in darker times of the day, the photos turn out very cool.

I also decided to take a photo without any mode. I thought maybe the camera would show its weaknesses here, but the little one passed the test, and now this photo is one of my favorites!

As it turned out, 10 shots are very few; you want to photograph everything and as much as possible! The photos come out very high quality, even if you forget to select the right mode. The Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 camera is very compact, it easily fits into any handbag, and its light weight allows you to take it not only to parties and walks but also on trips. It’s no wonder that reviews of the Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 are only positive; the camera fully justifies the high user ratings.
